From the Castle to the Farm: two different ways to be bio
The Farm “Alla Costiera” in Vò Vecchio, here the Gamba family, farmers for generations, cultivates the land, raises the vine and some animals. Lispida Castle in Monticelli, where vine has planted its roots for more than a century. What do these two entities have in common? The organic and biodynamic farming, which are first of all life choices, before being methods for working the land and breeding. We will walk through the vineyards and get into the daily life of country life. During our trip, after the tasting lunch at Trattoria Antonio in Teolo, traditional cuisine of the highest quality for two generations, relax within the walls of the Castle of Este (XIV c.).
Program
9:30 am Departure from the hotel or other prearranged meeting place by car / minivan
10 am Arrival at the Castle Lispida in Monticelli. Tour of the castle and guided wine tasting
1 pm Tasting lunch at Trattoria Antonio in Teolo
3 pm Walk in the park Castle of Este (XIV)
4 pm Arrival at the farm "Alla Costiera". Tour of the farm and guided wine tasting
6 pm Return to the hotel or prearranged place.
