From the cheese factory to the kitchen: a cooking class in Valpolicella
A morning in the cheese factory in the heart of the mountains of Lessinia to see how is the Monte Veronese DOP cheese made. Once you have chosen the raw materials to work with, we head to the restaurant Villa de Winckels in Tregnago. Under the orders of the chef you will be involved through the Cooking Experience in the preparation of the dishes that you will taste at lunch. After lunch we will head to the heart of Valpolicella. We will visit the Romanesque church of San Giorgio di Valpolicella (XII century) in front of a breathtaking panorama of the valley and Lake Garda. Followed by a tasting tour at Monte Dall’Ora organic farm producing Valpolicella and Amarone wines.
